I've been tagged!
Here's how this one works...1. The rules are posted at the beginning. 2. Each player answers the questions about themselves. 3. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and ask them to read your blog.

What I was doing 10 years ago:
Living in a dorm, finishing my first year of college.

Five things on my to do list for today:

I don't have to do lists, I'm not that kind of girl, but here are 5 things I did today

I would build a house, buy a newer van, save for retirement and kids college, and give to people that need...

Three of my bad habits:
1. I'm a slob.
2. I talk too much.
3. I eat entirely too much food.

Just some pictures...

Yes Tina, you are right... I have been busy with laundry and haven't had time to blog! So, here are some pictures from the week.

2 cool dudes!

Here is Chase in his riding gear... I bought this outfit at a yard sale when Chase was a baby and put it in the attic just because I thought Erick would get a kick out of Chase wearing this Fox racing gear one day... I had no idea that A) he would actually already have his own 4 wheeler when he got to wear it and B) what a HUGE bargain I got by getting this at a yard sale... This outfit in the store costs like over $100!! I think I spent $5.00 on it :) As you can see, Chase thinks he is BIG stuff!

Chase has started his second season of baseball (well, last year was t-ball), and he loves it! Erick is helping coach again, and Chase looks forward to every single practice. Here are a couple of pictures from him practicing in the back yard with Erick.

You can see, he means Business!

Keep your eye on the ball :)

In response to Melissa M's Laundry blog

Melissa M, here are my clean clothes that need to be folded and put away... Below are pictures of my real problem.

Now, I started out gathering the laundry in my house to make Melissa feel better about her laundry situation, but by the end of it, I realized that I have a problem... several problems actually, leading to one HUGE laundry problem. (If I could get away with blaming this one on someone else, I would say that when I decided to hire someone to come clean my house, my mom assumed that I would no longer need her services and so she quit coming over to clean and do my laundry.) :( I'm just kidding, Mom. One of the main reasons I started using Nicki was SO that my mom could have a break. One real reason I have this problem is that I have these huge laundry baskets that have several compartments, and by the time that they are full, (which is when the slacker in me finally clues in that I should probably do some laundry) it is already beyond overwhelming. Another problem is simply that there are TOO MANY clothes in this house.
Today I am doing laundry and trying to figure out a way to prevent it from getting this out of control again. So People who read my blog, go on, look at these pictures and feel good about yourself and your housekeeping ways, judge me, I judge myself :(

Here is the pile of the boys' laundry...

Ericks'....

Mine...

Darks...

Towels...

Whites...

And here it all is taking up my entire kitchen floor!

I have to say that I started sorting it all out last night after everyone went to bed and this morning, Erick was leaving for work and came back and woke me up to ask me what was up with the kitchen (which was clean before he went to bed.) Then when Chase woke up, he came and got in bed with me, (I was half asleep/half awake) and he thought he heard someone knocking on the door so he jumped up to go see who it was. I heard him walk in there and then turn around and RUN back down the hallway. He goes "Mommy, wake up, we have a HUGE problem!!!" I said "What is it, Chase?" and he said "There are clothes ALL OVER the WHOLE kitchen!!!" I said "Yes, that is a huge problem alright, but it's Mommy's huge problem."

A Late Lunch in Louisville

So, On Sunday, Kathy called to see if anyone wanted to come to her house for lunch. I called Julie, she said Sure, so we decided to leave straight from church. Erick politely put in his two cents of "You could go to Red Lobster for what you're going to spend in gas." I said, "Yes, but Kathy is not at Red Lobster" and Julie added "Its all about sisterhood, Erick". He smiled and rolled his eyes, and we jumped in the van :) It was so fun and SO worth the trip. She made ham, green beans, corn pudding, rolls, mashed potatoes, carrots, and a VERY good, but not so much pretty dessert :) (Then later we made chocolate chip coookies and coffee.) We hung out, played chicktionary, played dodgeball and t-ball with the boys in the back yard, and then Pam, Kathy, Julie and I (being the sophisticated adults that we are) played a game of 'Who can knock the SpongeBob ball over the house with a bat'. It was a beautiful and fun day!!!

Here is Pam's attempt at the game...

Kathy's Turn...

Look at that form... Man, I really should have played more sports.

If you were a fly on the wall at my house.....

If you were a fly on the wall at my house..... you would have heard this conversation go down:

Mommy- "What about Johnny Wilson?"

Chase- "He works at Applebee's now. He quit hunting skunks."

Mommy- "Why did he quit hunting skunks?"

Chase- "Because he made a million dollars doing it so now he got a new job."

Mason- "Momma, now we gotta hunt skunks because Johnny Wilson cant hunt 'em anymore!"

Mommy- "Ummm, we can't hunt skunks!!?!?"

Mason- "Yes we can, I can because I am tough. I'm gonna hunt those skunks and hang 'em up and throw 'em in the fire."

Chase- "Uhhhhh, Mason, you don't hunt skunks to throw them in the fire. You hunt skunks to EAT them!" (Duh)

Mason - (Long pause, deep thought) "Oh."

The End

P.S. This conversation makes complete and perfect sense to everyone in my house.
